Man United – Fulham Preview

Manchester United hosts Fulham at the Old Trafford in a fixture from the 26th round of the Premier League. It’s a good moment to stay with us and our free soccer predictions daily for this fixture. Here we go!

It seems that Manchester United are finally hitting some good form this season. The Red Devils are enjoying a run of five consecutive wins in all competitions – the Premier League and the FA Cup. In the Prem they are currently four in a row which happens for a first time during the 2023/24 campaign. Thanks to this United are now 6th in the standings with 44 points – just three points behind the 5th Tottenham.

Last weekend Manchester United won again. Erik ten Hag’s team paid a visit to Luton Town where they achieved a 2-1 win at the Kenilworth Road. Ramus Hojlund was the big hero for United as he scored twice in the first seven minutes of the game. The Danish striker now has 7 Premier League goals since the beginning of the season. The 21-years old star had a tough start of his career in England, but now it seems he’s finally starting to adapt to the team.

Erik ten Hag doesn’t have a reason to make many changes against Fulham, but he could rotate the line-up a little bit to keep the players fresh. Scott McTominay could return in the line-up while Antony and Cristian Eriksen are also options for the Dutch manager. Meanwhile Johnny Evans or Victor Lindelof could return in defense replacing Raphael Varane or Harry Maguire.

Alejandro Garnacho is one of the players who are playing better lately. The young Argentinian didn’t score against Luton Town, but he assisted one of the two goals. Garnacho is a player with huge potential so let’s see how he’s going to develop in the coming years.

Marcus Rashford is one of the players who need to step up this season. The English international was brilliant last season, but now he has some difficulties to score. Rashford has scored just five Premier League since the beginning of the campaign – certainly it’s not enough for his own standards.

Fulham are moving in the middle of the table as they are currently 12th in the standings with 29 points. For the Cottagers the most important thing is to survive so their current performance is decent. The Londoners are aware that reaching 40 points could mean they hit their goal.

What is Fulham’s current form? They have won just one of their last five games but they also made two draws. Last weekend Marco Silva’s boys faced Aston Villa at home, but suffered a 1-2 defeat. Rodrigo Muniz scored for Fulham, but at the end Villa were better and took the three points.

What could Marco Silva change against Man Utd? Alex Iwobi could be an option for the attack while Adama Traore could cause some havoc on the wings at the Old Trafford. Harry Wilson and Sasa Lukic could also appear in the starting eleven.

One of Fulham’s problems this season is that they can’t find a striker who can score a lot of goals. The team’s top scorer at the moment are Raul Jimenez and Bobby De Cordova-Reid with five goals for each one, but that’s just not enough.

That’s the free soccer predictions daily for the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Fulham at the Craven Cottage. Can United make it five in a row in the Prem? Surely they are favorites against Fulham, especially at their own Old Trafford. But let’s see if Fulham are not in the mood for something upsetting here.
